A team of tech geeks and sun-lovers,
we combine our passions and work together on what we think is most rewarding:
To produce great gadgets that will help you produce your own energy.
Together, we are the heads and driving force behind the solar charger you’ll love.
Pascal M. Landolt
CEO and Main Idealist at Element5, he is responsible for Business Development and Product Design. Pascal is at the helm of the company providing the big picture and setting the tone in Element5’s quest for free energy.
Pascal Studied Economics as well as Chinese Language and Culture at University of Zürich and University of Guangxi in Nanning, China.
A considerable amount of his monthly salary
goes into the acquisition of
new and shiny electronic gadgets,
the rest is saved for travelling.
Stéphane Landolt
An aspiring young professional at a Swiss Insurance Company, Stéphane shares his accounting and reporting skills with Element5 in his free time. His down-to-earth insights and analytic approaches are much appreciated in our company.
It was him who brought up the initial idea that later turned into Element5’s products.
Give Stéphane a lake to swim in on a sunny day followed by a barbecue and he’ll consider himself blessed.
[/three_col_col3]Markus Oehrli
Markus is owner of a Zürich tax law firm. He provides Element5 with valuable insight on Tax and Company law. In charge of all administrative things at E5, he gives us the peace of mind that allows the rest of the team to focus on developing and selling solar chargers.
Markus holds a Doctorate Degree in Law from the University of Zürich.
His lovely family would be big enough to fill a Tesla Model S – the electric gadget he might be tempted to acquire some day.
M. Little Helper
Little Helper prefers not to be mentioned by name. It’s no big secret that not much would go without him on our production site: He turns our prototypes into actual products by setting up the production lines and briefing our craftspeople – extending to tool development and quality control.
Originally a Precision Engineer for Mettler Precision Scales, Little Helper brings a passion for precision manufacturing using various materials – from glass to wood to pvc and metals. Unlike Disney’s version, this little helper is married and a father of three.
Christian Müller
Even though Christian works full-time as an Engineer, his passion lies in program coding and finding out “how things work”. He is more than willing to share his various talents with Element5 whenever we encounter a challenge in one of these fields – which happens considerably often.
Christian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automated Engineering from ZHAW.
An avid photographer, he’s also the fastest eater of the Element5-Team. Which gives him the advantage to get back to work before everyone else does.
“We should do away
with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living.
It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest.
The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors.
The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.”
